1 （ 大 衛 上 行 之 詩 。 ） 人 對 我 說 ： 我 們 往 耶 和 華 的 殿 去 ， 我 就 歡 喜 。 2 耶 路 撒 冷 啊 ， 我 們 的 腳 站 在 你 的 門 內 。 3 耶 路 撒 冷 被 建 造 ， 如 同 連 絡 整 齊 的 一 座 城 。 4 眾 支 派 ， 就 是 耶 和 華 的 支 派 ， 上 那 裡 去 ， 按 以 色 列 的 常 例 （ 或 譯 ： 作 以 色 列 的 證 據 ） 稱 讚 耶 和 華 的 名 。 5 因 為 在 那 裡 設 立 審 判 的 寶 座 ， 就 是 大 衛 家 的 寶 座 。 6 你 們 要 為 耶 路 撒 冷 求 平 安 ！ 耶 路 撒 冷 啊 ， 愛 你 的 人 必 然 興 旺 ！ 7 願 你 城 中 平 安 ！ 願 你 宮 內 興 旺 ！ 8 因 我 弟 兄 和 同 伴 的 緣 故 ， 我 要 說 ： 願 平 安 在 你 中 間 ！ 9 因 耶 和 華 ─ 我 們 　 神 殿 的 緣 故 ， 我 要 為 你 求 福 ！

A Song of Ascents. Of David. 1 I was glad when they said to me,       “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” 2 Our feet have been standing       Within your gates, O Jerusalem! 3 Jerusalem is built       As a city that is compact together, 4 Where the tribes go up,       The tribes of the LORD,       To the Testimony of Israel,       To give thanks to the name of the LORD. 5 For thrones are set there for judgment,       The thrones of the house of David. 6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:       “May they prosper who love you. 7 Peace be within your walls,       Prosperity within your palaces.” 8 For the sake of my brethren and companions,       I will now say, “Peace be within you.” 9 Because of the house of the LORD our God       I will seek your good.

朝聖者經過長途跋涉後終於抵達耶路撒冷並踏進其城門，到聖殿中朝拜神，有一種興奮的喜悅。撒冷是平安的意思，詩人為這城求平安，城裏的弟兄姊妹有了平安，為這城求平安的也必然興旺。讚美神，在至高之處榮耀歸與神，在地上平安歸與祢所喜悅的人；讚美神，祢留下平安給我們，祢將祢的平安賜給了我們；讚美神，因為祢成全我們眾聖徒，各盡其職，建立基督的身體，如同聯絡整齊的一座城；讚美神，因為我們活在新約裏，原不是來到那有火焰、密雲、黑暗、暴風、角聲與說話聲音的西奈山，乃是來到錫安山、永生神的城邑，就是天上的耶路撒冷，有我們新約的中保耶穌在其中！

After a long journey, the pilgrims have arrived at Jerusalem, entered its gates, and come to the temple to worship God with the joy of excitement. Salem means peace, the psalmist prayed for peace of Jerusalem. As the brothers and sisters enjoy peace, those who prayed for peace of the city would also prosper. Praise God, glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth to men on whom Your favor rests; praise God, You left peace with us, You gave Your peace to us; praise God, for You have equipped us saints for the work of ministry, so that the body of Christ may be built up as a city that is compact together; praise God, for those of us who live in the new covenant, we have not come to Mount Sinai where there is fire, darkness, gloom, storm, trumpet blast and speaking voice, instead we have come to Mount Zion to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, where Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant is present!
